How do we import data into pForecast?

Data are imported through Excel workbooks being uploaded to the pForecast server. Pre-made templates are available for each information type, and these may be downloaded from pForecast. For rapidly changing data, like historical values, you may connect to Cognite Data Fusion (CDF) to have an automatic import every day. Some clients uses bespoke systems to import historical data, called PDM. Thus, connections to other databases can be developed on demand. Alternatively, an API is currently in test\development phase that will enable our clients to develop and set up their own connections to pForecast.
